Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatic Surgery

The Orthopaedic Surgery Department brings together surgeons with different specialties but who have a common interest in understanding and improving the diagnosis and management of chronic diseases and acute injuries of the musculoskeletal system. We are currently conducting research into the causes, impact and treatment of frozen shoulder and rotator cuff tendon disease, acute spinal injuries, musculoskeletal trauma and hand tendon dysfunction and repair.
